Training doesn’t stop at the end of your fist either, well-rounded students learn COMPLETE self-defense and are adept at using knives, blades, sticks, and real-world objects like umbrella’s, handguns, or anything nearby to protect themselves.

Fun and engaging classes! We offer one of the most complete programs for self-defense whether you live in Tualatin, Tigard, or Lake Oswego or the Portland Metro Area. You’ll feel alive as you handle training knives, learn the basics of boxing, Jeet Kune Do, kickboxing, and Filipino Martial Arts. You’ll get fit as you turn every part of your body into the human weapon, and you’ll have a ton of fun along the way! Here are a few questions we get from time to time:

1. Is it safe?

Absolutely! We don’t offer any class that isn’t made for all ages and skill levels. We can work with beginners to advanced levels and everyone has a great time.

2. How long will it take me to defend myself?

On average people learn a great deal of information in the first six months. If you stick with it for a couple years you’ll be ready for anything! Just like any craft, if you expect to be good at it you have to put the time in and show up to class. Most people feel like this is the easy part, all they have to do is get to the door at RCW and we do the rest!

3. What are the benefits besides self-defense?

You’ll find after a few short classes that you have increased coordination, decreased stress, and confidence.
